You are looking at stores we opened after reviewing the vendor’s DRAP licence, or at engineers bidding on the repair you posted. A rental keeps the refundable deposit separate from the rental charge.
Pay
You pay the price and the GST by bank transfer.
We confirm the transfer, and then the order is funded. The vendor does not receive it that afternoon. The money is held against this order, in your name, until you confirm.
The work
The device shows up, the rental starts, or the engineer does the job.
You are not chasing a dealer on the phone to ask where the payment went. It is still in the hold, tied to this order.
Your call
Confirm delivery, or sign the job off. That pays them.
Our commission comes out of the vendor’s side at that moment. It is not a second line on your bill. You paid the price and the GST. They are paid from that.
Life-saving equipment
On those categories, our commission is zero.
You still pay the device price and GST. GST is the tax on the goods, and it goes to the vendor with the price. The zero is our fee. We do not take a cut on the equipment that keeps a patient alive.
